Who we are looking for
We have identified the need for a versatile designer to create artwork across a wide range of channels. This designer will focus on our most high-profile projects, infusing them with creative life particularly in areas such as presentations, reports, proposals, and client deliverables.
Your role will involve supporting the development and implementation of the firm’s sales and marketing strategy, with a specific focus on generating revenue, promoting growth, and enhancing the PwC brand.

You will be part of the Creative and Visual Team, reporting to the Design Studio Manager based in our Manchester office. This team plays a pivotal role in shaping PwC’s creative design requirements which are expanding in scope with the incorporation of new digital channels to attract diverse audiences.
The team is responsible for the formatting and design of both client-facing and internal documents and presentations. Your role will involve producing and overseeing the artwork produced by the current team across print, screen, digital, and social media.
As a versatile creative designer, you will possess the skills necessary to create impactful artwork across various platforms, from using PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Word, and Google to craft presentations to creating illustrations that breathe life into our campaigns.
Your fresh insights, knowledge of current trends, creative ideas, and the ability to challenge our team to meet the highest standards will be highly valued. No creative challenge will be too daunting for you, and you will collaborate with other designers to extend the PwC brand into new digital realms.
About the Role
- Producing a variety of artwork for PwC-branded materials and client deliverables, such as reports, presentations, event materials, brochures, illustrations, interactive projects, social media assets, web content, and animations.
- Providing support and guidance to other designers, regardless of their level of experience, to elevate the quality of creative work, challenge ideas, and strive for excellence.
- Receiving and interpreting client briefs, effectively communicating with clients, and advising them on the best graphic solutions while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Adhering to PwC and client guidelines and leveraging relevant experience to solve creative problems within an established brand framework.
- Demonstrating exceptional layout skills, using grids and structure to create precision-aligned documents.
- Exhibiting strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships with PwC stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborating effectively within a large design team, both on individual projects and team-based initiatives.
- Playing a significant role in working across all lines of service and industries in the UK, while also collaborating with a diverse range of PwC professionals to build relationships and become a valued member of the team.
- Maintaining exceptional attention to detail for proofreading and quality control, ensuring alignment with brand and industry standards across all work formats.
- Managing end-to-end production of documents, including liaising with printers (internal and external) or the digital team for online or social media deliverables.
- Taking ownership of client inquiries, proactively resolving issues, and escalating them when necessary.
- Contributing to the development of the aspirational Creative Centre of Excellence, thinking innovatively to help realize its vision.
Skills Requirements
- Proficiency in the complete Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and experience in After Effects and XD is advantageous.
- Highly skilled in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word, with experience in using GSuite (Slides, Sites, and Docs) being a plus.
- Solid experience in integrated business campaigns is essential, as your work will encompass both print and digital mediums, targeting B2B audiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities within specified deadlines, and propose viable solutions.
- A portfolio showcasing a track record of inventive and compelling creative work across print and digital platforms.
- Strong influencing and communication skills to effectively challenge internal clients and promote best practices.
- Willingness to engage with our internal training systems to continuously enhance skills and deepen understanding of the firm’s strategic needs.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
- A profound passion for graphic design, typography, creativity, and delivering outstanding client service.
- Solid design skills, backed by significant experience and/or relevant qualifications.
