As a Customer Assistant at Lidl every shift offers a unique experience and your efforts directly impact your rewards. Some days may commence as early as 5 am where you’ll be setting up the store bakery to prepare for the day while on other occasions your shift may conclude as late as 11 pm ensuring the store is ready to welcome another day of customers.
Your role is multifaceted encompassing tasks from handling deliveries to operating the cash register. Additionally, you have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as freshness non-food items or bakery products. Your dedication ensures food reaches dinner tables and keeps our customers returning.
Our team of Customer Assistants works closely together to maintain a clean organized store where customers can easily find the products they love and need. You’ll become part of a close-knit team that often feels like family.

- Unpacking incoming stock deliveries.
- Providing exceptional customer service at the cash register.
- Assisting customers with inquiries, helping them locate items within the store, and ensuring the bakery maintains a supply of fresh goods.
- Ensuring shelves are well-stocked, monitoring sell-by dates, and upholding product quality and freshness.
