Are you an ambitious Store Manager seeking career advancement in a well-established and expanding food retail company? Are you ready to excel and progress to the role of Area Manager, where you’ll lead and develop your own team of store managers?

This is a unique opportunity to join our thriving company and undergo award-winning training and development, with the goal of becoming an Area Manager within an expected 18-24 months. You’ll receive full support, including participation in our successful Area Manager Designate programme.
As our Store Manager, your role will include showcasing strong leadership skills to motivate store teams and maintain outstanding store standards. You’ll also have the opportunity to manage multiple stores in the Manchester area, so a full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle are essential (though, once you become an Area Manager, a fully-expensed company vehicle will be provided).
Upon becoming a Heron Foods Area Manager, you’ll oversee approximately 12 stores. Your responsibilities will involve nurturing top talent and implementing robust succession plans to cultivate future leaders, ultimately strengthening your area. You’ll inspire your teams to uphold exceptional store standards and drive sales performance, ensuring the continuous growth and development of Team Heron as a trusted community-based discount retailer.
